DARPA AWARD Receiptant

On May 9, 2007, Senior VP and CTO of Micromechatronics, Inc, Dr. Kenji Uchino was awarded the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's (DARPA) 2007 Product Implementation Award for the metal tube type piezoelectric ultrasonic motor.

The award was presented at the 14th International Symposium on Smart Structures and Materials in San Diego, CA. Dr. Uchino also was invited to give a lecture on piezoelectric actuators.
